Our mission is to improve responder awareness, access to safety-critical information, and participation in the policies, standards, and technologies that affect emergency operations.

We work to:

identify emerging safety gaps affecting firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, and rescue personnel.

translate complex technical and regulatory issues into practical information responders can actually use.

elevate the operational experience of the responder community in national safety discussions.

support evidence-based improvements to vehicle identification, emergency response information, training, and standards.

keep responders informed about regulatory developments, research, petitions, safety findings, and other issues that may affect the way incidents are managed.

 

VISTA Safety is not here to tell responders how to do their jobs.

We are here to make sure they have the information necessary to do those jobs safely.
